wind noise on driver door - from seal?

I have a 2002 TL non-Navi and I have noticed for some time now that I get a "wind" noise from the driver door (near my ear!) from time to time. Also, when a car passes in the opposite direction it's quite loud! Almost like the window was cracked a little - but it's not. I don't think the door is sealing correctly so I brought it to the dealer who said there is no adjustment on it.

When I look at the door from the outside, it's apparent at the door seam that the lip of the front door is out more than the rear door lip making it an uneven surface if you drag your fingernail across from the back door to the front. On the other side of the car, the seam is perfectly flat (meaning the sheet metal on both door is even) and I don't notice the wind noise on that side when someone else is driving. I bought the car brand new so I don't think it could have been wrecked. Anyone else have this problem and get it fixed? It's more annoying than anything - not a huge problem!

You shouldn't be able to hear a thing, take it back to the dealer and demand it be fixed. Complain to the zone office if you have to. TL's are very quiet.

I have the same symtom on my 2000 TL butI thought maybe it was the mirror housing or air flowing behind the mirror lens since mine are at the outer extremes. Gonna look fo rthe seal thing tomorrow to see if it is that.

I remember reading on here that someone had a similar problem and took their car to the dealer and had the body shop there bend the door flush, and the noise went away. Sounds like that is what you guys need to do.
