wind deflectors -- any use?
You know what I'm talking about? Those plastic moldings you see on some cars that go around the top of the window frames. Do they actually reduce wind noise, or are they just warts?
Also, I read that the 2002 TL has "improved soundproofing" versus the 99-01 models, which includes dampening materials but also "improved aerodynamics". What is this supposed to refer to? The shape of the sideview mirrors? I do find that most of the wind noise in my 2000 TL seems to be coming from them. If that is the case, is it possible to get 2002 TL-P mirrors fitted onto my 2000 TL, or is the difference just not worth it?
