Will they give me a loaner???

i was rear-ended by someone a couple weeks ago, and i've already gotten the check from the insurance company.. i don't know whether or not to take it to Acura of Boston.. will they give me a loaner car if i have them do the work?? the car is NOT under warranty anymore, but i DID buy the car from them a few years ago.. anyone??

all depends on the dealer. when you go in to have them look at it arange for a loaner

did your insurance company pay for the damages or the other party's insurance company??

I don't know about the laws in Boston, but here in Texas if the other party's insurance co accepts liability and pays for the claim, the state dept of insurance says that they have to provide you with transportation (rental car) if you need it for the time it takes to fix your ride. Most ins companies won't come out and tell you this, so you may need to call and ask for it. Also, a lot of times they will set it up on a direct bill, but you may have to pay up front and be reimbursed. Hope this helps.
