Well from the seat it'd be bad video quality given the wind factor but i can see if i can prop it up in my trunk, leave the trunk open, and drive down my block. I was also thinking on having my bro follow me in his car, which is the only other one available at this time, but he drives a Grand Cherokee SRT-8 and u wouldn't even hear my car so idk...I'll see what I can come up with, but I have yet to figure out how to put my old video camera's videos up on the computer so I'm not sure...

I just wanna hear how it sounds from the outside doing a drive by while accelerating (not redlining).

I was thinking more of something like leaving your vid camera on the floor or having someone hold and then do a drive by. maybe on your street or in a parking lot. nothing fancy

it will help a bit, but only to give you a nice sound all the way through the power band. if you want a deeper sound headers are what you need

Yeah I made a video of it on my camcorder (about 6-7 yrs old) and couldnt get it to download onto my computer. I know Phee did the same to his '99 so maybe u could ask him? Cuz he made a vid and posted it on youtube of the car at idle. Sorry tho, I gave it a shot.

great vid! but do u have any mods? or is ur car a type s? i got a friend to drive it around for me so i could hear it better and it didnt sound as deep or loud as urs, im thinking it was bcuz it was still cold..

it's a great and cheap mod. I contemplated and ended up doin on my '03 TL-P a couple months ago. I just got the big resonator removed and kept the smaller one. It makes a deep growl in low rpms. It costed me $35. All in all, a definite mod. people should do. Also just keep the parts after removal, just in case.

Unless he has swapped engines, he doesn't have a type S :see avatar: 1st iteration of the 2G. Do you have both removed yet or just the mid muffler? Phee has removed both.

yea i got the second one removed on saturday and it was a lot better, i recommend everyone do both, the mid muffler isn't enough, i'll try it again when the cars warmed up to see how it sounds

yup just a regular ol 99 with a CAI but you can only hear the CAI in the second pass of the drive by (i had to hit vtec) the rest is just exhaust. i actually think it sounds a bit nicer than the G because the G is rather tinny sounding

if u want it loud and deep just like those muscle cars, get the open header (QTP) on ebay and go hook it up by those muffler shops. i think that they rarely know about this. I have one in mi car and i love it, the great thing about it is if u want it loud , it opens up and startin to scream . If you want it quite, jus press the button then it closes and ur good to go. It has a switch u no.Lol good luck

or u can oder this qtp direct from this site www.badlanzhpe.com, ok the reason is because this is an electric cut valve ok, it has a switch that u can open that circle and close that circle (Open= loud @ss, close = quite). See , this is way better then those mod exhausts, no offense. I mean somettime u gotta stay silence right lols.
