I was looking at some of the Benz style mirrors with the led blinkers in them today. They look identical to the ones on the CLK. The set they had at the store were for a 2000 4 door accord and they were the color of my car. They looked exactly like my mirrors. I wanted to know if the mirrors would fit my car or would i have to do any body mods to make it fit.

There was a thread about this a while back and I think the answer was NO.

Yes the 98+Accord Coupe Mirrors do fit our TL's with very minor mods.
VDO has M3 style mirrors from the accord on his TL. I'm thinkin' about gettin' the Led Mirrors too but haven't had the chance to get them yet.

The M3 mirrors I got are made for the 98+ Accords. Although they do not fit as perfectly as the stock mirrors, they fit pretty good. The only things I had to modify were the factory gasket (they were a tad bit larger) and the wiring harness (no more heated mirror feature). Other than that, everything was "bolt-on".

Where are you looking at them. I have an Accord and have not been able to find them.

I have been talking to a company that makes LED mirrors for cars and trucks. They are the outside oem manufacturer for Ford.

This is the arrow that you barely see from inside and people outside and in blind spot see bright red or anmber LED. It has an antiglare coating which I know I would appreciate since my rearview dims but then people's highbeams hit my face from the side mirrors. They also come in heated and non heated. I think they underestimate the demand and they don't realize that the 99-01 Accord has the same mirror just no heated option.


I am curious how many people would be interested? I think we may convince them to make them.
