why our tranny set-up different fm RSX?
i got a RSX as a loaner for my baby's 30,000 maintenance service. figure out that RSX's sportshift will not automatically shift to 2nd. how nice would that be if our tls has the same set-up.

Burning Brakes
With a larger engine and heavier car, peak torque loads on the trans (which occur in 1st gear) are much higher in the TL-S than the RSX. They probably decided that some boob repeatedly hitting the rev limiter in 1st was not a warranty issue they wanted to deal with.
In other words, the feature was disabled to protect Acura from stupid drivers, of which there are many.
