I bought an 03 tls and i got it really cheap because it was in an accident and was repaired. the air bags did deploy and the previous owner put in dummy bags. my SRS light is always on. when i floor it and try to peel out the vsa kicks in. i press the VSA off button and a yellow triangle comes up in the dash. i know the vsa is working because the wheels wont spin. i fear this is causing me to get a bad launch when trying to get a fast acceleration. any ideas?

BTW i transfered my headers and exhaust and installed an injen CAI. so it should be really peeling out!

That is ur only fear? How about having no airbags and having to pick tempered glass out of your teeth. Sounds like it had a considerable amount of damage ... no telling what else is wrong with the car ... I would have dumped it too.

maybe the best thing to do will be to figure out where it was crashed and how bad it was and go from there.

Buying a used car is buying someone elses misery...you have no clue on what they might have done to the car.

When the VSA is off the yellow light will come on. When it is on he light is off. Sounds like its working correctly. When you lose traction it will blink for a second indicating that its working.
