Question who posted about 1.99 mudguard?

I just read a post here yesterday or something about somebody doing a 1.99 mudguard install. Supposedly they got the mudguards from k-mart? I looked at k-mart and target today and neither place had them? Can somebody provide more info?

It was me that had those 1.99 mudguards. I got them at k-mart locally. I checked other local kmarts and they didn't carry them. Other TL members reported they got theirs from Autozone. There wasn't alot of information on the packaging...it just said MudGuard. Search for my old post type in "Custom" and user AcuraTLFan

The ones that AcuraTLFan have are no longer made. I called the Co. and they said they have been discontinued.. I need to fine myself some also... But I just want a thin black piece of rubber... Hard to find at AutoZone, PepBoys, R&S.

AcuraTLfan, did you have the OEM mudguards around to trace the holes from, or did you borrow them from somebody? I don't have any to look off of or trace holes from, so I was thinking I could just match it to the wheel well and estimate I guess. Also, did you have to remove each wheel everytime to install?

I went to autozone and finally bought 2 pair. The installation was pretty straight forward. It doesn't look as perfect as the OEM's, but for 3.99/pair; it looks damnnnnn good. There's nothing like the satisfaction of installing something yourself, while saving about 60-70 dollars. =)
