here is how to do it. I go mostly by memory but as you go along you should see what I am referring to:

1. remove driver side fuse panel
2. remove the bolt there, it unlocks the kicker panel
3. unplug the brightness switch harness, then remove the panel (all clips)
4. remove harness for suunroof and cruise control
5. lower the steering wheel column to the lowest position
6. remove 2 screws above the gauges
7. here is the tough part: grab the bezel by the openings of the speedo and fuel, and yank it hard towards yourself. you should start hearing/feeling clips getting loose.
8. work yourself around the bezel and towards the A/C side, continue to free the clips to the dash.
9. When all the clips are free, remove harness to the clock, A/C and "select/Reset" switch
10. Now the bezel can be removed completely
11. 4 screws will hold the gauge in place, remove them
12. unplug all the harness at the back of the gauge to remove it.
13. remember NOT to turn on the ignition to any position after the gauge is removed, or your SRS light will come on
