Where to obtain SSM Body kit
I've looked around and it appears the Satin Silver Metallic Body kits are no longer available for our cars. Is there someplace I can buy an unpainted kit for a 02 TLS and have it painted at a local shop? If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
Thanks,
Chris
Thanks,
Chris

I just ordered mine for my SSM 03 TL-S about 2 weeks ago from Ray Laks Acura. Call them up and ask for Tim. I forgot the number but go to hond.com and you can find it there. He told me he hasn't had the SSM color in stock since Nov of last year but he will let a body shop paint it and ship it out. I haven't received it yet but I should be getting it next week. He also told me that the paint job is guaranteed to be perfect and I've also heard very good things about him. Total cost was $829 I think it was.

I'm worried about having it painted and then shipped..I think it would be damaged during shipping.

TLS - The Lust Sedan
I also bought mine from Ray Laks Acura for my SSM for $829 shipped and it came in perfect condition. The only problem I had was they forgot to include the front bumper bolts with the kit. All it took was a phone call to Tim and they overnighted the bolts. They have the best cutomer service.

when I ordered mine Tim let me know it was going to take about 3 weeks to recieve my kit since they have to paint them. I waited and it took 20 days I think. It was worth the wait...

Yep, I also got my kit from him. The transaction went flawless.
However, when I ordered a new front bumper cover (painted there) from him, he sent me the UA4 part. He sent me an UA5 right away, but upon receiving it, I noticed that the paint had run in the bottom section of the bumper and it was looking nasty. Also, UPS bent the fvcking bumper during shipment and the paint at the corners came clean off. But Tim paid for a new paintjob here at a local shop so it was all good. Just some mistakes which weren't life-threatening or anything.
