wheel numbers

what are the best numbers for a wheel (offset, etc)

Well 19's are the biggest you could go..and you need an offset of at least +45.

With 19x8, you need a minimum offset of +45..anything lower will probably rub.

I'm getting 19x8 w/ +50 offset, which supposedly is the best offset. do a search and you can find the rest of the info you are looking for.

FWIW- the factory 17"-ers are +55

Any idea what company made the rims for the TL-S's (i.e. the ones on my girlfriend's Saab are Ronal)

Go with 225/45/18 that way it will keep your stock ride
