Rumbling noise from the affected side IIRC.

Sorry not to hijack the thread but I've been hearing some weird whistling/screeching sounds on the TL. On mine, if I hear whistling or a screeching sound instead of rumbling (especially when the sound echoes off next to a wall, median, car), is it possible it's the wheel bearing? My rotors are also warped so maybe the sound is coming from that? The sound is heard when the car is moving above 15mph and seems to come from both front wheels.

Could just be your pads brushing up against the rotors, especially if they are warped.

So if the pads still have some meat on them but the rotor is badly warped, it can cause the screeching sound? This can put my fears about wheel bearing failure to rest.

Yep, very possible. Even when you're not on the brakes, the pads are still touching the rotors. If the rotors are warped, then the high spots will brush up against the pads and make noises.
