Whats that squeak!
Ok so I have put new pads and rotors on my car...new tires (already worn but thats another story). I have noticed a sqeaking noise coming from what seems the front right tire. It is not all the time, just at random times. But once it starts it does not stop until the car sits overnight. It is not the pad rubbing, they arnt even metal and it does it when i am moving and if it were the brakes it should stop when i slam on. Its reallly fuckin annoying. It sounds like a squeaky bed frame. Anyone have any ideas? I have already shelled out sooo much $ to the dealership and would like to fix this on my own.

THis squeeking noise occurs all the time, even when you dont apply brakes?
I have a few theories, but need more info. You could have collapsed a brake line changing the pads and the calipers are stuck after the first few applications of the pedal (first start of the day).
Loose nut rubbing. Improperly installed pad(Hey, not knocking, but items may have shirfted during re-assembly). Seized caliper piston (happens, even after a quick fix)
Are the brakes REALLY hot after you drive for say 10 or 15 miles compared to the other wheels (you can place your hand carefully on the rim face and feel the heat. If it is much hotter, then you have a stuck caliper. Trust me, it will be noticeably hotter than the others!
Good luck, and feel free to share some info. I had a lot of unfortunate experience having to deal with my previous car - you guessed it - a ford Taurus!
