What are you thoughts on DEA Motor Mounts?
I changed my front and side with OEM with great success, but went the inexpensive path on my the rear mount (using the DEA mount about 6 months after changing the previous mounts) on my 2002 TL Premium. It is doing "better", but now I receive a tremendous amount of vibration when the car is at a stop light and in gear.
Since the DEA mount was guaranteed for life, I called the vendor and they shipped me a new one with similar results. I was curious on others experience with the rear mounts at it is difficult to determine if the problem is the DEA mount or maybe my engine damper is the one giving me fits when I adjusted it while changing the timing belt. (BTW - the vibration goes away once the TL starts moving)
What is your experience?

is it a mount issue or a bad coil or plugs?

did you remember to put on that counter weight back on (and pointing the same way) when you put the side mount back on from doing the t/belt

2003 TL-p
i have a DEA front and rear mounts, and i have some vibrations at idle. but i do also have the ingalls stiffy ETD set @ 12 mm so. the vibrations can be felt in the steering wheel, but it doesnt really bother me. my engine is not moving anywhere with the ETD set at 12mm, so thats all that matters to me.

The plugs are about 7k miles old.
I am curious though if there is an easy way to check a coil though? Purchasing 6 new ones would be nice, but am more apt to fine the troublemaker - if a coil pack is the issue.
Thanks.

Gave a single coil pack a shot
With it getting cooler in my "neck of the woods" I am noticing the engine to get more sluggish as it gets warmer. It starts like a champ cold and gradually gets worse. I did purchase a single coil pack from Advanced Auto over the weekend to find that they only had a "low end" coil versus a Hitachi OEM. I compared the resistance between the coils to find the Advanced Auto coil was not as efficient as the Hitachi; hence, I believe the difference explains the "mixed" result (nothing substantial) when it was placed in the engine.
I guess it looks like a pack of 6 is on its way.
I found a good deal on a new Hitachi coil packs on-line, but am curious if anyone has another idea before I bite the bullet on the purchase?
Thanks.
Bill
