what size bolt pattern will fit our cars? and offset preffered.

My car is a '99 TL and I am considering shopping around for some new, maybe used, rims for the summer. I obviously know that it is a 5 lug bolt pattern, but what should I be looking for with regard to size?

Not the rim size I know that is personal opinion, I am probably looking for 18s. low chance of 19s, but it all about what I can find that looks good.

Another question - What offset is perffered? or is it a "rim by rim" basis. "Depends on the style of rim"

Thanks for the replys

doesnt matter what rim you choose, you will want atleast a +47 or greater offset. the rim width 7.5 to 8 at most

Ok thanks perfect.

Now what size 5 bolt pattern. I know the M5 5 bolt rims are too large even though they are 5 bolt. What size is our bolt pattern?
