What the max size i can go with wheels on my 2001 tl? Some say 19's and others say 20's some please help me out.

19s are the largest diameter of wheels I would go with. 20s just look out of place on a TL. Personally for my TL, I'm looking at getting some 18s. I'm going with this size for the decent ride quality, less risk for rim damage, and less risk for rubbing. Once again, going larger than 19s will greatly reduce your daily driveability and praticality.

I'm most likely going to stick w/ 18's and drop it about an inch. thanks for the tip.

go with 18s... stock tl-s 17s look good 18s just as well but 19s and 20s are pushing it and consider dropping your car more then an inch
