What price? Thinking of selling the TL

Well as sad as it might sound I might sell the TL. For no real reason then it's starting to have some miles on it....105k...I know is not a lot on this type of engine, but...and to be honest I'm just kinds bored with the car and am looking for something new. It's just not fun to drive anymore. Don't get me wrong, it's a great car but is just lacking that OMG that was fun feeling of driving.

Was wondering what you all thoiught would be a good price to sell it for? From those here who have seen it, it's very clean. A scratch....must be pointed out to you on one rear passenger door and a scratch you can see on the rear bumper...again most would miss it if not real car people.

As listed it has lots of mods....know doesn't mean crap to most people except the type who likes them all..

Opinions?

like most i think you'd have to part the car out as much as u can and then sell it to make any decent money on what you have put into it. Sad to see it go though. That nitrous was awesome to see in person even if it was in the rain at that last meet.

Don't care about getting out what i put in...never will even if parting out....my pay off is around 15k as when I bought it I had to roll my overage from my Expedition onto the TL bill...I'm upside down and I know it...just want to get as close to my payoff as I possibly can....

If you part out your aftermarket stuff and get your car as close to stock as possible, you will probably get a little more than what you owe on it. In many cases performance aftermarket equipment doesn't increase the value of the car but actually lowers it. It gives the impression that the car was driven hard. If you want to sell it with your mods, it may take a while to find the right buyer.

I just bought my 03 TL-S w/ navi & 67K on the odo bone stock for $13,900. At least here in California, it may be hard to sell your car for much over $14k. Good Luck!

You are not gonna get more than 12K for it, and if you trade it in probably less since its modded. Its your best bet to take the mods off and try to sell it, modified cars are harder to sell. What are you looking at getting?

You have a lot of negetive equity in the car. Your trade-in value is around $8500 MAX if you put the car back to stock. It retails for around $14000. You won't even come close to that.

If you do decide to get out of your car you should pull your mods off the car and sell the parts. I got about $1000 total when I parted out my mods, and the dealer wouldn't even consider taking my car in trade unless I put it back to stock anyway. So I spent a day in the garage taking everything off.

Another option would be just to live with your "bordem" and keep the car until the note is down a little more. You have a nice setup. If it wasn't for the tranny issue that I had happen twice I would still have my TL-S! Good luck with that...
