I replaced the door panel light to hyper white with polarg bulbs that I got from this site. Althougth it looks nice, the bulbs are a bit too big. And I am afriad that it might melt the plastic around it since the new bulb is much bigger than the stock ones and are much closer to the plastic parts. Are there bulbs that are about the size of the stock bulbs that can be used to replace the door panel lights? The trunk light also uses the the same kind of bulb, but these polarg are too big that the bulb cover can't be closed if I put them in. So anyone with information on this please let me know. Thanks!

BTW: Replacing backup lights with these bulbs rocks. They are awesome looking!

You probably bought the Polarg M-6 bulbs.. those can be used in your reverse lights so you don't have to waste them..

but the bulbs in the doors are 168 type bulbs, I think the polarg number for those are M-4 bulbs.

cool, I am going to get some M4 bulbs then
M6 were the ones that I got that were a bit too big.

Just as a note: I put the big M-6 bulb into the trunk light socket and it lights up the trunk really nicely. This bulb is higher wattage and larger. Too bad the trunk light cover won't close anymore, but that ain't an issue.

I just last week got rid of the trunk light bulb and put in a blue neon light tube instead. Now my trunk is lit up in a cool shade of blue.
