What has Acura done to the TL-S ?
I'm just wondering what's the difference under the hood between my 2001 TL and the 2002 TL-S? I know that they did something with the exhaust but I also know that you can't gain 35hp from replacing the exhaust... can anyone help me with this ???

The compression is different , and I asked how much would it cost to change the TL to the TL-s and from the responces I recieved I concluded that it sounds like too much money to spend and money would be better-off spent on adding headers, air intake, and exhaust. there is a couple of other reccomendations for add-ons if you a search. but that is the mods I am going to start with for my engine. There was also another discussion about a TL modded beating a TL-s stock (I know some of the races were from rolling starts at 80 not sure if they went from stand still). Plus if you have more power in a TL modded than a TL-s you are incognito, lol. Just like the new 2004 or 2005 Volvo S80 300hp WTF!! and the C70 300hp IT IS A WAGON WTF!

The head on the engine is tuned differently and along with the diffferent exhaust, that is where they get their 35hp.
You have less of a struggle getting it as fast (or faster) than those of us with 99's- at least you have 5 gears!!!!! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!
