What happens if we use D2S hid?

I see that the 2000TL uses D2R HID bulbs. I read that the difference is a strip and that D2S is used in projector type lenses etc. What would the light theorectically look like if we used a D2S in our headlamp assembly instead?

If you put a D2S in our car, it will send the beam all over the place, up, down, left, right, and it will blind people even more than they do now.
