Not sure if neon is appropriate on any car anymore. But if you like it, who cares what other people think.

As for blue neon / red car ... not sure if that will work. Red car ... red neon, maybe?

 

i actually bought my blue neons in 2002 when i thought it would look good. before i knew better. still have them sitting in garage. -$150, owned. with wireless controllers!

do it if you want. just make sure to keep it clean - eg: no mix and matching colors or seizure inducing patterns. also wire it up to so they come on with your doors. that way at least you'll look slick rather than a ricer who cruises around with them all day.

 

I'd say get some puddle lights and get the smaller ones like Malayalee King has one his ride. Looks great IMO, but do what you want.

 

okay i got the neon today, plan on installing sat. All i need now is instructions on how to mount without the tubes showing, if anyone has an idea that will be greatly appreciated

. I say take it one step further and run some pvc pipe under your side panels. Load it full or bottle rockets and other misc. Fireworks. Run the fuse straigt to the headers. First wot and bamb you have your very own custom light show. Plus don't forget the extra hp you gain using high quality Chinese fireworks. At least 45 the the wheels .good luck

i wouldn't advise it on a TL. Acuras deserve better than that. I had neons on my 96 toyota corolla back in the early 2000s, right around the time Fast and Furious came out. Even if it was a compact car, now a days, i still wouldn't do it. My opinion though....

 

ive once thought about doing the underglow effect. i was thinking to get hyperwhite LEDs instead of neon. but i never did it decided against it. but that was just me. and the only time i woulda used it is when id be parked and hanging out with friends. if youre going to do it at least look for LEDs instead of neon bars should look better. then again this only my opinion. listen to those other guys and do what you want.
