if you paint stuff (with a spray can), how do you go about primer, paint, and clear coats with sanding? what grades of sand paper are usually used? 400, 800, 1000, then 2000? do you sand after each coat of primer, paint, clear coat? How do you 'Wet' sand? Can someone explain the process to me. I'm trying to do a project. Thanks

sand, then prime a couple coats. then sand with like 320-400. then if needed prime somemore (like if you break thru, or still see sand scratches) then paint. once paint is applied there is no need for sanding, unless you get a run. then clear coat. many medium coats. then you would wetsand with 1500 then 2000 and buff and polish
