What about blinkers higher wattage?

I asked the question earlier of why the connectors on my fogs seem to be getting burned... however, if the higher wattage is the cause of this, then does that mean that my hyper white (Polargs) blinkers would also do that to the wiring/harness of my blinkers? Stock is around 20W while the Polargs are around 50W.

It's quite possible the Polarg's would do this. What you also may want to consider is that, with the higher rated bulbs, the blinking rate will most likley change too since the bulbs resistance is different. After all, that's really all a light bulb is, one big resistor. That's why you may see some cars with a turn signal out flash at a higher speed, there's less resistance in the circuit with out that one non-working bulb.

I thought signal lights and tail lights were 5w? Anyhow, using Polargs will be fine.
