Wet driver's side carpet

Hi,

I'm new to the board so please forgive me for any ettiquette errors. I have a 2000 TL and the driver's carpet is constantly wet. I've read everything I could find about this but still can't find that problem

I found that the sunroof drain was disconnected so I repaired that and thought I was done. The carpet dried but a few days later it was wet again while my repair was dry. Is there any other source of water that I don't know about? Any suggestions on where to look?

There are a few possible areas to look at. Does it happen when the car is sitting or after driving? There are a few plastic caps covering holes near where a drain hole from the wiper cowl comes out, those can leak. (you have to remove the fender liner to gain access to them)
The other area is there are some drain plugs/caps under the carpet. Those may be leaking. I dont know your climate, but can you break out the hose and start looking for the issue? If so let the hose run water across your windshield for a while and look for water with a flash light coming in. Pull the carpet back some to see if you can see it coming down.
