Wax for Scratches

Has anyone tried any of those color waxes that suppose to cover scratches? Black shows every hairline scratch.

listen the color waxes to cover suck. i used it on my maxima (my first car) - i had a scratch on the bottom of my door on my tl - my bf used this fiberglass boat cleaner that takes out scratches. now it's G O N E!! i dont know the name exactly PM me and i'll try and get it from him. but you have to use the fiberglass cleaner then put a coat of wax on directly after. my car looks great!!

Depends on how deep the scratch is--if you run your fingernail over it and it catches on the scratch, ain't no miracle polish/cleaner gonna completely get rid of it. And if you really think about it, no cleaner can really "remove" scratches--they only cover them up. The only true way to remove such a scratch is to sand it down, then repaint the affected area...unless you're willing to take a shortcut and buff away some of the clearcoat if the scratch isn't that deep. Yeah, easier said than done--especially if you have to pay for it--but if you want it done right, it's the best way to do it.
