okay, lets say you buy a used TL from a private seller. And it has less than 100k miles. Is the warrenty still in effect? How would it be? Is there like materials yuo need like papers and such to get a valid warrenty? where would you take it to get your car fixed under warrenty?

what i did was, i looked online. i went to the acura website and registered on ownerlinks. i put in the vin number and they "the site" said i was in the extended warranty. and i take the car to an acura dealer for service.

if you bought a used TL and they didn't tell you there was an extended warranty, then you are SOL.

the regular warranty runs out at 50,000 miles.

00-01 TL have extended warranty (100k) on the transmission and nothing else.
