Well I got my 03 TLS in January, and so far have the following problems:

- Lumbar Support handle broke off when trying to engage it
- On-Star never worked(been putting off getting it fixed)
- Sunroof Rattles like crazy
- Annoying whistling/sqeeking from rear deck
(anyone ave any idea what this is)


I had a 2000 altima before this and that car was built a lot better, kinda pissed, it's obvious honda's quality control is non-existant....Won't catch me buying another honda car....
My question is, can I bring these problems to any dealer and get them fixed free, or should I return to the dealer I baught the car from. I'd like to bring it to Park Avenue Acura, but if there gonna be difficult about doing the work because I did'nt by the car there I would rather not deal with that.

Any dealer will handle it...
For two of your problems, I can say that my sunroof squeak came from the rubber moulding itself. They wiped it down with some sort of silicon or something and it hasn't squeaked in almost a year. The deck rattle/whistle/whatever was coming from the two trunk-lid torsion bars rubbing against each other over bumps and with some extra bass from the sub. I went to Home Depot and bought a little rubberized heat shrink tube and just wrapped it where the two intersect and touch as well as where the plastic piece supported them. No more problems there, either...

I have no On-Star and my lumbar support ain't broke...

Thanks for the info about the torsion bars sound like that's what I am experiancing as it only occurs when going over bumps and what not...
