warranty question/lowering car

I heard that you can cash in on your warranty. Just wanted to know if it was true. I got the 7yr ext. warranty but was thinking of cancelling that, so if anyone has any info on this I would appreciate it.

Also I am thinking of lowering my car, but want more info on what I should go with. I heard comptech is good since they specialize in hondas and H&R. Any others and if so which ones would be the best.

Thanks

I'm not sure about the warranty thing, but as for springs... I love my H&R Sports; the ride, height, and looks people give me. Other brands are Eibach, Neuspeed... plus, many different coil overs. Check out the suspension tab at the top of this page. You may want to specify the amount of drop you want, and what kind of ride quality.
Oh, and the price of the H&R Sports are a lot better than the Comptechs, not sure why, either. They are as good or better quality.

Well, I just got my comptechs installed at my local dealer. (Park Ave Acura ) They warranty all comptech parts and recently they are installing H&R springs too.

You can probably cash in on your extended warranty, just not the factory warranty.

I called my acura dealer up and he said they dont install any springs on cars. Are there some dealers that do that and some not cuz I see alot of ppl get there springs installed from the dealers.

I just want to make sure that i dont get my warranty voided.

Check out the FAQ page concerning warranties and aftermarket parts. Very informative.
