Warranty Issue
I purchase my 02 TL Type-S a month ago and wasn't aware of the tranny failures until I discover this site. I bought it from a Dodge Dealer and they offer me 3 years/36, 000 warranty for $1,100, which I thought is was a rip off. That was the only warranty they offer me and so I denied it. My car has 57K miles and was wondering if anyone know where I might be able to get a warranty else where...or would I be able to go back and get a better price from the dealer I bought from?...Let me know...Thanks.

Warranty Issue...
Ok...so to my understanding my transmission is already covered whether I have the warranty or not then.. If that's the case then if my transmission fails on me...the dealer will replace it free of charge? That's my only concern for the car.
If you guys are right then I should not have to worry about paying a big bill....Thanks....

Dont mean to sound rude. But how bout you go to your local Acura dealer, give them your VIN # and see if its already been in the recall listings and ask them what happens if it fails?.... Then and there will you know for sure whats going on. Becuase when something does happen, and they say other wise, you cant be like "" but the guys at acurazine have had this done to them.." know what i'm saying?
