I went to Acura of Auburn and asked them how much it would cost to replace the OEM brake lines with the carbon fiber lines and they told me around $250. But, that would void my warrantee on the brake system. Nothing will be covered. Is that true? Someone had previously posted the warrantee can not be void unless they can prove that the non OEM part caused the problem. The only brand Acura will recognize is CompTech. Has anyone look into this? Also, people with barbon brake lines, are they worth it??

You are correct, the warranty cannot be voided unless they can prove without a doubt that the non-OEM part caused the problem. Which is highly unlikely. My dealer initially gave me sh!t on my CL when I asked about an intake, but service didn't care. I passed 2 inspections there no problem and warranty work, while not engine related, was done no questions asked......

Where can I find such statement black on white? Does it vary state by state? Also, should I contact Acura directly and see if I can get that on paper?
