Want to paint engine compartment, need right paint

hey guys, I'm looking to paint both my calipers and the engine compartment with the same colour as the car, Aegean Blue Pearl. I want to know where I can find the exact same colour, and the paint which is resistant to high heat. I think the colour code is B504P. Anyhow can someone direct in the right direction for having my engine compartment and calipers painted.

thanks guys!

im looking forward on the doing the same!! i have a local shop that specializes in automobile paint, whether if it's heat resistant or not. He gets the code and shakes it up and puts it in a can i believe. I'm getting it real soon... if the paint turns out good and matching... maybe u can call him and see if he'll mix it up for u and send it to wherever u are.

I bought my high heat paint at home depot for @ $5. I took off the engine cover and washed it a few times. Then I sprayed 3 layers of primer on first then 3 layers of paint on it.

But to get the ABP color, I think you are gonna have to get customized paint. I got a regular blue color which turned out better looking than I thought.

Over 2 years later and it is still looking like new.

you DONT NEED HEAT PAINT! go to a automotive paint store (not like a autozone) and they can mix it in to spray cans. your calipers dont excede the temp of paint tolerance's brake fluid boils at a little over 200 deg. paint can go past that. ive had regular paint on my calipers for 120k now and i race and it still looks new. standard automotive paint will hold up if you clean and prime the caliper surface good. now the engine compartment wount be a problem with the paint either

yah cause I saw a couple guys with ABP TL-S, and they have their engine compartment the same colour as the exterior of the car. I thought it was one of the best affects to have the engine and calipers matching the car. I will either go with all ABP around (Car, Caliper and Engine Bay), or I will go with ABP on the car and Engine, and Bright Red calipers. I think that would look soooooo pimp!!!

for the enigne cover, you dont need high heat paint. you can use any regular paint. do primer first, then the paint and if u want it to look real nice and shiny, put on a clear coat. as for the brakes... i have no clue.

for color matched spary paint... check out http://www.paintworldinc.com/ i got 2 cans from them for my satin silver metallic tls and it matched perfectly.
