Hi,
Is there a way to have the foglight turn on all the time when the car is running?

there is a mod to have that occur. Basically with the Fog light switch turned to "ON" all the time, you will be able to run them with the DRL (Daytime running lights). As of now, the Fogs can only come on with the HID's, but you can change that. Check the DIY section for detailed instructions on having it done.

I don't want to turn my on my HID during day light. I just want my foglight on.

yeah I had asked before. I couldnt find anything. I want the Fog lights to come on without the parking lights or HIDs.

The reason that I want my foglight to be on all the time when the engine is rurning because I want use 9006 cool white LED bulbs which I am working on a 9006 cool white LED bulb replacement. As you all know LED bulb have 100,000 hours life.

just splice a wire that gets constant voltage when the ignitions on...its not hard to figure out yourself

actually, i wouldn't just splice the power key wire. if you do that make sure u use a relay or else you might overload what ever it is u spliced.

Using a bosch relay, hook up the following:
ground(-) to pin 85
keyed(+) to pin 86

battery ALWAYS HOT (+) to pin 30 (be sure to put a 20A fuse on this)

fog light switch(+) pin 87

to find the fog light switch(+) just use a circuit tester, turn on your head lights and turn on your fog lights. next attach the circuit tester to a ground and use the the other end of the tester and touch each pin on the switch until tester lights up. while keeping it there turn off the fog light switch. If the tester turn off, then keep checking the pins on the switch until you find the one that stays on regardless of the position of the switch (remeber to keep your head lights on) ... you want to find the power wire that feeds the switch. Once you find the wire, snip it and connect the wire from the fog light switch to pin 87 of the relay. This will enable you to turn on your lights when the key on the ignition is on and also let you use the fog light switch to turn it on and off if there is ever a case that u do want your fog light on.
