Forget about it Tam. You'll have to get the Kit shipped from Japan and then have it painted. You're looking at around $2000 for the kit and around $1000 for paint. Or thats how much I'd expect it to cost to paint a 4 piece body kit. I guess you can get your hook ups, but if I paid that much for a kit, I'd want solid quality work.... Mobworks in O.C. does great work, but doesn't come cheap.

Btw, let me come see your ride with the OEM package on. I wanna see how your hooked up paint job turned out.

Shall I let you in on my next exterior mod? I'll give you hints. It involves a 2nd Gen CL bumper, a Purestyling front lip and some grafting...

I have seen wicked rides in ALL colors. I see it as ice cream, it's hard to pick a favorite. Sure I love the WDP, but I have seen some Silver and Blue TL's that have blown my mind. I get many of my mod ideas from the cars on this site. I think the workmanship and pride of ownership is incredible on all the mentioned cars and many that have not been mentioned.

Amir's was nice. Weactually installed his brake upgrade, custom spacers, springs, wheels (had 3 or 4 sets). It was an all aroung clean car. He traded it for a GS430

This was the car I got the idea for my new wheels from. My car will look very close to this except I have window tint and a custom antenna on the roof. I loved this car. It was nice to see it again.

It seems like the WDP cars are being very well represented. Being a owner of a WDP myself I tend to lean toward them - but those blue TL's look AWESOME as well. That was my second choice when looking for a TL-S.

thanks man. You can't really see how the flames looked in person, pics just don't do them justice. They were perfect ghost flames, fading in from the DWP to Gold. I also think the best thing about my car, was the fully molded stock bodykit. To me, that set it apart more than anything else about it, even the missing door handles.

yeah dude, notice teh centre channel cut into the dash. that system in there is teh F1 Status, not really anything better than that. Not to mention the full computer and screen on the trunk lid hadn't really been done when I built the TL...now that stuff is a lot more commonplace.

I had the brembo's and every other go fast bit available. (other than the SC which came out after the car was done) The Zeal Function B6 coil overs were out of this world good, the TL felt better and more composed than my current car on the highway and around town.

@ dreemr: the dirty pic is just to show the car wasn't a garage queen for me, it was my daily driver.

current ride:

but this is parked in the garage.
