Question Vortec Cyclone Questions

WELL IVE BEEN READING ABOUT THIS THING CALLED VORTEC CYCLONE IT SAYS THAT IT IMPROVES UR HORSE POWER AND GAS MILEAGE BY JUST ADDING A LITTLE PIECE OF MEDEL INTO UR INTAKE WHICH MAKES A CYCLONE EFFECT!! WELL I WAS JUST WONDERING IF NE ONES EVER USED THEM AND IF THEY REALLY WORKED?? IT COSTS AROUND 60 BUCKS?? SHOULD I BUY IT?? NE WAYS THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!

as one of my auto teachers says, u put a intake in to smooth out air flow. so supposodly you put this in your stock intake to improve air flow, yet... the whole purpose is to smooth out airflow, but your putting something in the intake that could possibly cause resistance? it doesnt make sense! and actually my school did get one, we put it on a chassis dyno. the vehicle actually made less HP and TQ with the "turbonator" in the intake.

Go ahead and buy it. While you're there, see if they will toss in a Caps Lock key for nothing.
