Vibration when Parked

Hey Everyone,

When I first picked up the 02-TLP back in February, I noticed a problem when the engine was on and the car was parked. It was a low, steady vibration that went for about 2 or 3 seconds, and then the car settled down for 5 or 10, and then started over again.

After checking to make sure it just wasn't the AC compressor kicking on, I went over to the Acura dealership to have it checked out. Well, and also to have the sidepanel fixed after some asshole knocked it with a shopping cart. The mechanics took a look at the car to see if any codes were being tossed up, but beyond that didn't have any advice.

Now several months later, I've noticed the problem getting worse (and yup, it is using only premium gasoline). Now its just a constant vibration which can only be described as annoying as hell - even to my friends. Now I either have to turn the car off completely or just keep it in drive with the brake on.

Any ideas?

Have your mechanic check engine mounts. If one or more mounts go bad, you feel vibration that, sometimes, goes away when you keep car in drive and your foot on brake. When you do this, your engine-transmission shifts off normal position due to applied engine torque and eliminates play that is in worn or broken mounts.
