o ok ima noob on here so please spare me one.......but im having a problem when driving my 03 tl-s ......it basically rides like crap and it just happened out of no where. tires have about 85% tread on them so there fairly good and the car rode like a benz like a week ago now i get in it and it feels like im driving over rocks.....and yes i searched but couldnt find a def answer i checked the struts/shocks no leaks and they feel good.....any ideas Thanks in advance

 

tire balance? axles? broke belts on teh tires?

 

i was going to get the tires balanced in a few days when i get a chance and ill see if that helps

 

ask them to see if they see/feel any broken belts, and do a quick suspension check.

Im guessing you threw a wheel weight off- that will ruin the ride instantly,
or took a pothole hit and bent a rim- which OP didnt mention so hopefully not~
or a wheel is loose- ck lug nuts 80 foot pounds

shops with `Hunter Road Force balance machine` can check the rim and the tire- all computerized..as long as the operator knows how to use it..
last week a shop told me I had a bent rim...won balance,, when they had put spacers on wrong...dededeee
maybe the average customer would have bought a new rim~ or set of rims from them, but a former service writer/manager/tech, and teller of stories galore....not going for it

took the car to one of the mechanics at my job and it turns out i have 3 bent rims hmmmmm wonder how that happened??? maybe my girl hit a few potholes and didnt tell me. I got them rebalanced anyway rides a little better going to have to do until i find someone selling some wheels.........
