US TL vs Inspire, are we being jipped?
I have been really wanting to get some Inspire tailights for my TL. Other than some aesthetic differences, I was wondering if the US models had less features than the Japanese models? My buddy just bought a new Prelude and he noticed that the Canadian version has nicer features. So what about the TL?

In Hong Kong, they don't have side airbag, no TCS, but they got the foglight.
I am not sure it was a 99 or 00 model. I think it was a 99.
But that's in HK... The Japanese got the better steering wheel....

Funny, I went to HK, last Christmas and barely saw any TL/ Inspires there. I was there for 3 weeks checking out cars and only saw one at night. Thats it. I saw quite a bit of RL's though.
But then again I've never seen so many E-class or S-class in my whole life. Most are with AMG kits or Avante Garde. Very nice...

Personally I think US model offerese less standard equiptment for their TL. We have emergencey trunk release LONG TIME AGO, flour mate standard and DAY TIME RUNNING LIGHT which I like the most...

Inspire/Saber doesn't have Moonroofs, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, TCS, standard leather-trim, other minor stuff! They're GPS/Navi system is way better, with optional front side and rear cameras, split screen, etc.

Socal, Thanks for the really great info! I guess there are more accesories for the Inspire, how much of that stuff can be ordered to be sent here? Like the camera mounted spoiler?
