So I went down to the ol' West Herr Toyota today -- I pull in the cars not out front, uh oh.... turns out that it was getting the rear brakes machined and new tires getting put on the back.

I didn't get to deal with the lady salesman like I wanted I got the same guy that I had when I drove the Solara.

So anyhow, they wanna give me $2000 trade for my 94TBird... He showed me this little Nada type book and it didn't even list it with my engine so he got all confused and tried to say oh, it means V8 the TBird didn't come with a 3.8 V6 -- it was the Taurus. So I set him straight on that -- so I told him thats rediculously low, although I didn't expect the 4,000 I owed, I expected around 3. He said "I'll go see what I can do" So he comes back like 10 min. later and hands me KBB printout on the "A-Cure-a" LOL thats how he says it, anyhow, and a CarFax report and mentions nothing about a diff. trade price.

Grrrrrrrr I didn't get to drive it -- and he said they just "put a grand into it today" cuz of the brakes and tires, I said, well don't do it and knock a grand off and I'll get it done much cheaper. He mumbled. So as of now I'm going back Monday to drive it although I don't think he's going to budge on the price of the car or the trade (the car price is good, but its still more than I wanna spend *20965 for a 99 with navi and 50k*

I saw a Green 99 non Navi with 30k miles on the way home but they were closed, I'm gonna go there monday too and say another dealer offered me 2k trade and the car with navi that has 6,000 more miles (I'll lie, its 20....) is $20,065 ... what can u do. Then lastly depending, go to Ray Laks and see if he'll beat either for the 99 FP Red non Navi with 40k.


I really want the one with Navi, but I really want FP red -- but after seeing rajamaja's car --- th eheather mist is sweet -- and actually the Green (DK) looked good too --- it'd look tight with that mirror fading tint and chrome wheels I think.
