underbody fender...

Hi, I had my body kit installed about two years ago, and in the process of the install, the underbody fender ( i think thats waht it is called) had to be removed and later put back in....

about 10 days ago i had my tranny replaced, and all of a sudden yesterday the underbody fender came loose and is dragging across the floor. I wanted to know if they needed to loosen that up while doing the tranny install. ie is it their fault?

thanks

i have no idea what a underbody fender is. are you talking about the plastic cover that protects the engine from water and such?

1. i have no idea why you needed to remove it for bodykit install.

2. i dont think they remove that for a tranny install.

regardless you NEED to fix it ASAP, mine came loose cus of a mistake i made and it ripped off and bent my fender and such. its not a big deal just get a few retaining clips from acura and put them back in. should cost you like 20 bucks at the MAX. taking it to the dealer should be more, stupid stealership

Buy some new clips, or just zip-tie it.
