Go out to your local speed shop, and get some of that smoke taillight spray. Usually it's in a japanese packaging. take off the taillights, put newspaper around the red part...and spray very light coats, until you get the desired darkness you want. and DO NOT touch it until it's dry.

ne1 have full blackouts on the whole tail? i was thinking ab that... if u dont have enough for the 02 tails. and u have a black car, i think all black tails wud look pretty cool..... i have an 01 silver jeep grn.cher. and i used "cling-on" tint, and used a couple peices of it to conform it to the tails. and it looks pretty professional and VERY HOT. its temporary which works great bc the car is leased. i may try this out on my TL to see how it looks, considering the whole thing costs like $6. but i doubt it wud look good., bc its too ghetto for a TL, and pretty bad with my green tl.

Problem is if u get rear ended -- the insurance will see that and say oopsy no pay... ur fault -- dark taillights... at least they've been known to do that with the GTS covers...
