type of synthetic oil

Hearing from people that synthetic oil is better, i asked the service guy while making an appointment to see if he can put in synth. oil for me. He said to just make sure to bring in the right type and weight (or something like that). Can you guys tell me what kind is the best and what type i should be getting? I'm kinda clueless about this. sorry. and thanks.

I always have liked Valvoline products, & get great results with the sync power or semi-synthetic, usually 10w-30 summer & 5w-30 in winter. I don't have the TL-S yet

I use Redline, the best synthetic oil there is. You'll have to call around to find it. Its about $5.99 a quart. After switching from the oil the dealer puts in (my first oil change was free), there is much less build-up on my exhaust tips.

I'm using Mobil 1 5W-30 . . . . until Redline or Royal Purple is easily available in my area.
