Two compliments in one day!!!!
I was going to tell you guys a really long story about what I did today but you guys will probably be bored. So I will try to cut it short and save the torture. My uncle came to visit from San Diego. I took him to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Cost me freakin $35 
to park my TL in a parking garage. Anyway, as I was heading home tonight in NYC, I was stuck at a red light. A previous generation Maxima pulled up next to me. He had tints and an exhaust. He saw the TVs on my headrests and gave me compliments. He also complimented me on my TL. He asked where I got them and how much. He said that he wanted to put it in his car also but was afraid. Found out he lives in Queens and he said that it will not last a day. I totally agree with him. 
Then the light turned green and we parted way.
My next compliment came a few blocks later. I was making a left turn and I noticed a TL was making a right turn right behind me. He pulled up next to me and rolled down his windows. He also complimented me on my hookups to my TL. I beleived he had a blue TL with tints and a factory spoiler. I also told him about this site and he said that he will check it out. If you are the guy I saw tonight in the other TL, welcome and I hope you stay.
Even though it was freakin HOT today, those two compliments made my day.

sweet! you're lucky. I've only had couple complients before since 1) I don't have exterior mods... 2) no body cares about what car you drive in Nebraska...

a lot of trucks (F150, F250, RAM1500, Silverado, even like S-10 and rangers...), SUV's, sports car (cheap Mustang, Camaros) and that's most of it. of course there are minivans and sedans, but majority are the 4WD ones since we have heavy snow, sleet, hail in winter... (yeah, I hate it) but there are still some nice cars like Jag XK8 convertible, Porsche convertibles (Boxster, Carrera), and TL's

just get freakin dirty looked at and then they try to race me, civics, integras, neons, etc, they all love me!

I live in East Hanover and I used to live in West Orange. I also chill in the same areas you do and lots of other places too (JC,Newark,Roselle,Parsippany,UC,etc...)
We gotta meet up and chill. Let me know.
