tuth about CAI's
Im looking to get a CAI for my car and am trying to decide on what i want to get exactly
My first choice is the Comptech IceBox, not because it looks stock but due to the location of the filter and the ease of cleaning it!
Of course I had heard alot of good thigns about AEM (especially the V2) and the Injen CAI's but the biggest thing thats stopping me is that the filter is located cose to the bumper.
To clean the AEM and the Injen filters do I have to remove the bumper to get to them or can you get to them through the engine bay?!? this is the biggest question i have.... if i can get to the filters easily without doubt i will get a V2 Unless someone can recomend something better?

you could access the cone filter from under the car, no need to lift either (it'll make your life easier though), you just remove 2-3 clips from that section, move the plastic cover and get a screw driver in there, and backwards to finish up.
theres no way to get to it thru the engine bay...gotta work on the floor.
But yeah, icebox will save you 20minutes of dirty work a month BUT you dont get either the cool sound it makes when you floor it NOR the sweet look of it.
