Has anyone try rewire the foglights so they can be turned on with just parking lights?? If yes, how easy is the process, and what are the steps involved??

I have not done it, but it can be done if you are handy with cars and know about wiring. The fog switch is connected in circuit with the h/l switch. You need to disconnect the fog switch from the h/l switch so that it does not depend on the h/l switch.

Just bumping this back to the top to see if anyone has any pointers on this. My '97 Maxima was very easy--just rewire one leg of the switch relay (not the lamp relay). The switch relay drew power from the low-beam circuit. Rewire to the parking light circuit and you're in business. Fogs go off when all lights switched off, will go on with just parking lights and will stay on with high beams. Anyone know if the TL-S has the same set-up?

Well, I have an aftermarket PIAA's which are wired to turn on w/ the parking lights only w/o the low beam headlights. But why would you? It's illegal to drive w/ just the parking lights or just w/ the fogs.

Maybe in CA but not here in MA. Driving during daytime hours in inclement weather (rain/snow) is allowed, as well as at dusk before headlights are required. In fact, in MA the law specifically states you can run fogs *instead* of headlights if it improves visibility during real thick fog conditions. Also, MA does not have a requirement that fogs must be off when high-beams are on. I realize it's cheaper for Acura to design only one electrical system (well, two--one for Canada with DRLs), but that doesn't mean we can't circumvent it.

Actually, all I want to do is that I can turn on foglight with just parking lights, instead of turning on headlights. Since I left parking lights on most of the time, it would be convenient for me to turn on foglights, too(can't imagine when the road is covered with snow, and I am driving with Xenon low-beam)....
