Hey man I really WANT to believe...I really do...but bottom line is I agree with juniorbean on this one. The ONLY way to really convince me like with ALL of the other products is if we get to dyno it. It could be pullies...exhausts...headers...or the tornado, we don't care...if it's independantly dyno proven...I'm sold. IT'S SOO EASY. All your dad's company have to supply is 1 unit...and 2 dynos...whats so hard to understand about that? If you have real marketing department in your company that trully believes behind their products, you wont need informercials and the product would sell itself...plus YOU will be saving your DAD a CRAP LOAD OF MONEY. Do your dad proud and convince us...because believe me...if the dyno even shows a gain of 2hp...people will buy your product by the hundreds.

Think about it...AEM pullies that cost about $120 without installation, yet only improves HP by 2-3. People...like myself who have aftermarket exhausts ($500 and above) gain only about 5hp. If the tornado is prooven to increase HP (even if it's a small amount like 2-3hp)...then wouldn't you think people that spent $500 on an extra 5hp will buy your product thats UNDER $100 for 2-3 hp gain?

Comptech amoung other name brands have prooven themselves over and over...yet have to produce 1 single TV commercial.

I'll leave this open for a bit to see where it goes. If an intelligent dialogue comes out of it... we'll let it stay open. I'm not holding my breath though....

 

Yeah...well...I really hope so. Instead of flaming the hell out of the guy...woulnd't it be cool if we did get a dyno? Increase or not...at least thats a step forward in increasing ATL.com consumer assertiveness.

 

I'd love to get a dyno out of them. It would cost them next to nothing and the free "advertising" alone would make it worth it. He says he doesn't care... but he's been sticking around... so maybe it will happen.. who knows.

Like you said, any small increase could have this thing selling on boards like this pretty quickly.....

What we're looking for here is not dynos from your father, however, we're looking for an independent dyno from one of our members. What that would entail is shipping a Tornado to a member with a stock TLS and paying for two dyno pulls... one stock.. one with the Tornado installed. Showing us dynos from your dad doesn't prove much. AEM claims 10whp for their intakes, however, we've only seen dynos in the 4-8whp range....so that's what we believe. Comptech shows dynos of 32whp for their headers, yet I've never seen one over 28whp.... you get the idea. Any manufacturer can produce their own information supporting a product of theirs... we're looking for an independent dyno here.

You seem to have great confidence in the product, which is good, and b/c of that you should be willing to allow a member to do an independEnt dyno b/c it will make believers of everyone. We'll leave this open for a few days to see where it goes.....
