Tune up question

I am approaching the 60K mile mark and I need to tune up the car. I never in my life tuned up a car. I got it pretty much figured out execpt for what kind of wires to use. what kind of spark plugs to use and the gapping of the spark plugs? Is there a measurement for gapping the spark plug??

thanks!

Forgive me but I am sure the 1999 TL does not need a tune up untill 100,000 mile interval. This would be changing your spark plugs it has the platinum plugs that are changed at 105000 on the TL. Now if you are going to just put in new plugs & wires thats another story.

I think the gap is .44

the plug you buy should be pre-gap, no need for wires, if anything you should be getting new coils not wires. This should be done at 100k miles not 60k.
