Question TSB's

If a technical service bulletin was released for a problem, is Acura required to fix it? Or do you just remind your service advisor about the problem and work with him from there?

TSBs are not recalls. they are issued as an aid for techs to repair certain conditions. Not every car is effected by a bulletin. Just because there is a bulletin out for a particular problem on your year/model car, does not mean your car will have that problem. If you have a particular problem, part of good repair procedure is to check if there are any pertinent bulletins about it as an aid in finding the solution. It is a great idea to work with your Advisor. If you know about a bulletin, ask him- it couldn't hurt.
