Transmission Problem '99 TL

I have a 99 TL with a re-manufactured transmission about 6 months ago. But there seems to be a problem or so I feel like it could be with my tranny. I just wanted to see what others experience with their car shifting.

The problem is when the car warms up a bit (10-15 mins of driving) and say I park to grab something in store come back and start the car. Shifting from reverse to drive my car acts like it's shifting fine and then 1 to 2 seconds later will stutter/ lurch forward and be in gear. This also happens if I put the car into park then into drive.

The mechanic who swapped my tranny out said all my motor mounts are in good condition.

Anyone have any ideas? Anything would be helpful!

I always thought it was normal for it to take 1-2 seconds to go from reverse/park to drive.

Yeah, a delay I am comfortable with, however is the lurch that accompanies the change in gear I am curious about.

motor mounts were ckd yesterday?
What fluid is it using? Honda DW-1? that's the spec fluid
Many others will cause problem in shifting
Whats the warranty on it?
try new fluid!

a 3 ounce sample of drained fluid sent to blackstone labs with 20 bucks
will get a mass spectrograph reading of whats floating around loose inside the trans.
Certain metals or clutch material amounts etc reveal different things good or bad

Motor mounts were checked May 28th when they were trying to fix another problem I had; I asked if they would check them. And I don't see much wear on them.

The shop that did the reman said they used DW-1 and was on the receipt they gave me. I still have about a year left give or take for the warranty.

I'll look into sending off a sample, but I just wanted to see if this is normal behavior for this car's transmission. I mean the car is old.

Video

I took a video of what I think is a problem. This is after a 30 minute drive. My car will shift into drive (D4) engaging, but will have an extra lurch. Seen best at the end of the clip.

Ask your trans guy did he change the following parts?

1. Shift Control Solenoid C.

2. AT Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Valve A/B Assembly.

Under the A/B solenoid are three small pipes with 3 O-rings. If you end up changing this solenoid, be sure to change the 3 O-rings and a new A/B solenoid gasket. While he has the three small pipes out tell him to check the three small screens on the bottom of the pipes for debris.

3. Readjust the shift cable at the shift lever in the interior.

I recommend OEM parts only.

The list above control the shifting in to Drive.
