Tranny Service
I took my 2002 tl in for tranny recall and rotor wobble. Sterling mccall acura resurfaced the rotors, and installed new brake pads at no charge. 
As for the transmisson they say they inspected 2nd gear and installed the atf jet kit. I sound skeptical because after reading all the post of transmission problems after the factory fix. I hope I don't have catastrophic failure while I'm on the freeway I drive about 70 miles roundtrip to work each day. I asked the service writer about warrenty issues if I installed cold air intake system, they recommended that they order the comptech icebox and install it themselves so my factory warranty and exteded warranty would not be affected.

Remember, there wasn't only one problems with the tranny design - there were several. The oil jet kit is for the 2nd gear overheat problem, not the other issues brought up in the NHTSA paper.

yup. ive never had the 2nd gear issue (where it needed the oil jet) but i have gone thrugh 3 trannies now with the bad 3rd gear clutchpack
