tranny question, yea another one
havs anyone tried the 04+, 3-solenoid trannies on the 02-03 cars? i found a beauty of an 03 with tcc codes, and would rather just swap a newer trans off an 04+ tl or rl....im going on the idea that all j-series bellhousings will bolt up, if i am wrong, please set me straight

thanks, but neither of these answer my question...i want to keep the type s motor thats in the car now, just want to know if there is any ecu problem with using the newer transmissions(autos)

I got the Shifts

you must use the 2nd generation transmission.
the only trannies that ar einterchangeable are the manual transmissions. i was recommending doing a manual swap with the richie V6 harness. the two threads above will give you more information.
or you can stick to the auto-tragics.
